  • Guang Chenpi Shreds: remove impurities, spray with water, soak/moisten, cut into shreds, dry

  • Content: same as the crude drug — hesperidin and narirutin (per Pharmacopoeia: hesperidin ≥ 2.0% for Guang Chenpi)

Packing features of shred/slice forms: shreds and slices are more uniform and compact than whole peel, with higher density and smaller footprint — the main export form. However, their larger surface area makes them more prone to moisture absorption and oil bleeding, so moisture-proof packing is essential.

Bulk / export packing:

  • Bags: 25 kg / 50 kg PP woven or plain unprinted bags (inner liner for products prone to mould, insects or oil bleeding)

  • Cartons: inner bag + reinforced moisture-proof corrugated carton, common sizes 1 kg (30×25×20cm) / 1.5 kg (36×26×20cm) / 2.5 kg (38×30×25cm) / 5 kg (45×35×30cm)

Container loading (estimated): shreds/slices are markedly denser than whole peel, so a 20ft container should load more than whole peel (≈ 2.5–4 t). Shreds/slices: approx. 4–6 t per 20ft and 8–12 t per 40ft (estimates; subject to compression and packing method).

Storage & transport: clean, dry, covered transport; protect from moisture, mould, oil bleeding and insects; avoid direct sunlight and rain; never mix with toxic, odoriferous or contaminated goods.
